About SMS API:

An SMS API allows you to send text messages using code. You can trigger messages to your customers on autopilot based on predetermined conditions.

Pre-requisites

• An active Exotel account.
• The authentication Key and Token.
• Integration to be completed by the customer development team using API Documentation

How it works

• Step 1: Your server sends An API request to Exotel with the required parameters using Send SMS API

Send SMS API: 

This API will send an SMS to the specified To number. To send an SMS through our API, you will need to make a HTTP POST request.

• Step 3: The user clicks on the link. The link opens in the browser.

• Step 4:  On submit, The response is sent to your server & the response is recorded. You can either take actions via Exotel or In general based on the user's input.
